About Our Partner
Dr Taz Emeran-Thomas
Dr Taz Emeran-Thomas is a child of God, medical doctor, entrepreneur, keynote speaker, and founder of Khaya-Doc, a patient-centric digital healthcare platform designed to serve South Africa's missing middle and underserved communities.
Through Khaya-Doc, she has brought together a multidisciplinary network of healthcare professionals who have collectively reduced their fees by 50% in an effort to make quality healthcare more affordable and accessible through virtual consultations.
Having overcome teenage pregnancy to become the first doctor in her family, Dr Taz's journey is a testament to faith, resilience, and purpose. She is passionate about empowering others to overcome adversity and fulfil their God-given potential.
As a strong advocate for healthcare equity and opportunities for unemployed healthcare professionals, she leverages technology and innovation to bridge healthcare gaps and expand access to care for those who need it most.
